The perfect autumn dish you have to try

The Lowdown

If you haven’t yet heard of Tapasta just off Półwiejska on Kwiatowa 3/3, you might want to keep on reading this review. You guessed it—pasta is the name of the game here! While plenty of joints throw pasta on their menu, Tapasta takes it to another level by guaranteeing that every single bite is 100% homemade. Seriously, folks, that means tastier dishes every time you sit down to eat.

Now, we can’t believe it took us this long to check out Tapasta. Maybe we got sidetracked by the flood of new restaurants popping up in the city, but it was high time we gave this OG pasta spot a whirl. Fun fact: there are only a handful of dedicated pasta restaurants in Poznań, which is wild! So, what did we order to find the perfect Autumn dish and if Tapasta still holds its ground against the fresh faces?

The Chow

The Gnocci

Let’s get into it. First up, we ordered the Italian Dumplings with chanterelle mushrooms, leek, cream, butter, soy sauce, peanuts, mother parsley, and emilgrana cheese. And damn—those flavors hit different! The earthy vibe of the chanterelles mixed with the creamy sauce was a serious mood, while the soy sauce added this unexpected umami punch. The peanuts brought that crunch to the party, and the emilgrana cheese just melted into the dish, giving it a rich, nutty depth. Toss in that fresh mother parsley, and every bite was like a hit of savory, creamy perfection with a hint of brightness to balance it all out.

The Tagliatelle

Then we had to try the Tagliatelle with chicken, gorgonzola, caramelized pear, walnuts, and of course, fresh pasta. It’s like a whole autumn vibe in one dish. The gorgonzola brought that sharp, funky flavor, but the sweet caramelized pear balanced it all out. Throw in roasted chicken and some crunch from the walnuts, and yeah, we were vibing with this one hard.

The Spaghetti

Finally, we went all out with the Spaghetti with Basil Pesto, burrata, truffle paste, and pistachios. Talk about a flavor bomb! The pesto was fresh as hell, burrata was creamy and smooth, and the truffle paste took it to that bougie level. Pistachios added that perfect crunch to keep it interesting. Each bite was pure fire.

Wrapping up

What’s the takeaway? Fresh pasta matters, and when a spot like Tapasta is laser-focused on one thing, you can taste the difference. The winner of the day? No contest—it’s the gnocchi. Fluffy, flavorful, and straight-up the perfect autumn dish. You need to try it, like, now.
