After 15 years spent creating interiors for others, the woman behind Opula decided it was time to build something carrying her signature completely.
“Opula is my answer to a real gap in Poznań and Wielkopolska,” she explains. “I wanted architects and clients to have the kind of address they know from Warsaw and across Europe — without having to look elsewhere.”
Located inside the historic Magnolia building from 1928, Opula deliberately avoids feeling like a conventional showroom. Furniture, lighting, stone, bathrooms and art exist together, curated as one complete interior.
“I don’t want someone crossing the threshold and feeling they’ve walked into a shop. It should feel more like entering someone’s home.”
Her definition of luxury follows the same philosophy. Forget logos and shiny surfaces.
“True luxury today is time and peace of mind.”
Opula takes clients through the entire journey — from furniture and lighting to art and even hanging the final sculpture — with specialists handling every stage.
After years in the industry, she’s also clear about what she’s had enough of: disposable design.
“We want to sell less, but better, for the long run. Furniture should be of such quality that it can pass from one generation to the next.”
And while AI rapidly enters the creative world, she isn’t worried.
“AI won’t take work away from designers — it will take it away from those who were merely reproducing formulas. Interiors are about senses, emotion and trust.”
Behind the vision is a team of specialists covering everything from bathrooms and lighting to furniture and art.
“Opula isn’t a one-woman show. I set the direction and safeguard the coherence, but real luxury is only possible when there is someone at every stage who truly knows their craft.”
The ambition now?
“I want Opula to be an address named whenever people talk about the best design in Poland.”
