Grab a deckchair
Summer in Poznań means one thing: pretending you’ll arrive early for a good seat, showing up late anyway, and somehow still ending up watching a film from behind someone’s head. Grab a deckchair, stare at the stars, fight off one mosquito, and enjoy a free movie in the heart of the city.

The popular #NaWolnym Cinema is back in the courtyard of Poznań City Hall, once again turning bureaucracy’s backyard into one of the city’s best summer spots. From June through August, it’s all open-air screenings, night air, and that very specific Poznań ritual of “just one more film” turning into a full evening outside.
Here’s what’s on the big screen this year:
June 5 – F1: The Movie (21:45)
Brad Pitt enters the high-speed world of Formula 1 in a drama built on speed, ego, and adrenaline.
June 12 – I’d Kick You If I Could (Kopnęłabym Cię, gdybym mogła) (21:45)
A sharp, darkly funny Polish drama about relationships, frustration, and everything people would say… if they actually dared.
June 19 – To Be Loved (Być kochaną) (21:45)
A reflective psychological drama exploring love, sacrifice, and emotional memory.
June 26 – The Voice of Hind Rajab (Głos Hind Rajab) (21:45)
A powerful documentary telling a deeply human story shaped by conflict and its devastating consequences.
July 3 – The Great Marty (Wielki Marty) (21:45)
A coming-of-age story mixing humour and heart as its protagonist tries to find direction in life.
July 10 – No Way Out (Bez wyjścia) (21:45)
A tense thriller where every decision feels like a trap and nothing is simple.
July 17 – Sirat (21:30)
A visually striking road movie about identity, freedom, and human connection.
July 24 – The Secret Agent (Tajny agent) (21:30)
