The Mission
Alright, Poznań Daily has been on a mission—finding the best teachers in town for everything from singing to football, pickleball to tennis, and beyond. And this time? We’re diving into a sport that almost everybody has played at some point,—table tennis.
Man, this one takes me back. Growing up in London, I was pretty slick with a paddle myself—fast hands, nasty spin—but that’s a long story from 20 years ago! Let’s talk about the real Kings of the table in Poznań.
The Ping Pong Masters of Poznań
Three best mates—Karol, Tomek, and Radek—started this academy, but their journey goes way back. Karol was actually Tomek and Radek’s first coach, and the three of them grew up living next door to each other.
During the pandemic, when all the sports halls were shut down, they had their own private hall where they kept training. Just for fun, they started recording their sessions and throwing videos up on YouTube. Fast forward to 2023, and BOOM—they got picked by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) as Poland’s first-ever World Table Tennis Day promoters.
That same year, they threw down one of the biggest table tennis tournaments in Przeźmierowo, with almost 100 players competing. That’s when sponsors started knocking, asking if they wanted to go from YouTube sensations to full-fledged academy owners. And just like that, Kings of the Table was born.
