El Korrado. The go to place for amazing Mexican street food in Poznan!

On our quest for authentic Mexican street food in Poznan, we stumbled upon a gem – El Korrado, a food truck masterfully operated by Conrad, an American Pole with a passion for culinary excellence. Born in Gozow, Poland, and raised in Virginia, USA, Conrad’s culinary journey led him back to Poland, where his dream of owning his own establishment began to take shape.

Drawing inspiration from the vibrant food truck scenes of New York to Miami, Conrad crafted a menu that seamlessly blends Mexican, Asian, and American influences, alongside timeless classics reminiscent of Mexican food trucks in the USA. Located on Mickiewicza street in Jezyce, El Korrado is Conrad’s pride and joy, serving delectable Mexican street food with a twist.

Operating from Thursday to Sunday, from 6:00 PM until late, El Korrado presents a diverse menu showcasing tempting succulent barbecue tacos and unique salsas, including Mango Pico in the Carne Asada and Chipotle Salsa in the Koliflor and Carne Asada, adding distinctive flavors. In addition to tacos, the menu boasts popular Philly cheese toasties. El Korrado also stands out for its flexibility, enabling customers to enjoy various taco variations, with the option to order a single taco for around 15 PLN.

A standout dish that has captivated our taste buds is the Popcorn Chicken, a unique and scrumptious offering priced at 20 PLN. We also recommend the Carne Asada, a Mexican street food staple, and the authentic Birria Taco. What adds to the appeal is El Korrado’s proximity to Billaboom klub bilardowy, providing patrons with the option to enjoy their flavorful meals indoors while relishing a well-stocked bar. For those keen on entertainment, Billaboom offers billiards tables upstairs to extend the evening.

We are thoroughly impressed with El Korrado, and it has undoubtedly claimed its spot for us as the go-to destination for Mexican street food in Poznan. Highly recommended for both the exceptional food and the welcoming atmosphere – Conrad’s friendly demeanor makes it an even more delightful experience.
