A 6-year-old boy is raped by his own father. The situation of the family was already being monitored by social care, which was worried about the boy’s behavior as he was aggressive at times. In the meantime his parents split up.
Because his mother had alcohol problems, he was placed on family emergency. It was only then that the ordeal of the child came to light. The boy told his guardians that he was raped by his father and his colleagues who also showed him pornography.
Wojciech K., the boy’s father, as well as two of his colleagues, were brought to justice. In 2019 they were sentenced to prison. The boy’s father for 15 years and his colleagues for 12 and 6 years. All three were to pay the boy PLN 250,000.
According to Radio Poznań, now the Poznań Court of Appeal in the next trial sentenced Karol K. to 10 years in prison for raping the 6-year-old twice. The man was supposed to have tried a third time but the boy managed to escape. The judgment is not final.
There was an appeal. In the case of Wojciech K., the boy’s father, in May 2023 a verdict was passed in the Court of Appeal. The first instance sentence, i.e. 15 years in prison, was upheld. The judgment is final. On the same day, Marcin W. was also sentenced to 12 years in prison. In the case of Karol K., the boy’s second friend, the case was re-recognized. First, he was sentenced to six years in prison, and then he was acquitted.
