“What Happens at Na Fali, Stays at Na Fali.” — The Klub na Fali Interview

The Largest Restaurant In Europe

Palm trees. Sand. Cocktails. Pool parties. Tinder photos.
Somewhere between a beach club, summer festival and controlled chaos sits Klub na Fali — the giant riverside spot that’s become one of Poznań’s wildest summer destinations.

What started as a lakeside pub idea years ago has now turned into a 6,500 m² beach-style takeover in the middle of the city (the biggest in Europe) — and according to the owners, this summer is about to go even bigger.

We met with Marta and Tomek from Klub na Fali to talk cocktails, crazy stories, giant costs, and why the whole place feels like a mini holiday resort dropped into Poznań.

Hi Marta — whose idea was Klub na Fali?

It actually started with my husband, Tomek, about ten years ago. He’s from Leszno and originally wanted to open a pub there. Instead, he found a spot by the lake in Boszkowo. It was called Fala — we reworked it into Klub na Fali. Now there are three locations, but Poznań is definitely the biggest.

What’s new for 2026?

We’ve levelled up. More covered areas — last season taught us a lot about Polish weather. We’re planning a slam dunk tournament, a bigger fashion show, and introducing new VIP zones you can rent. Some classic cocktails are coming back, and we’ve created a signature ice cream — Limonka na Fali.

Any fun facts people don’t know?

It’s massive — around 6,500 m². Actually the biggest restaurant in Europe. Paris is second. The bar alone is 80 metres long, the longest in Poland. Every season we bring in around 1,500 tonnes of sand, palm trees from Alicante, and chandeliers from Indonesia. It’s basically a temporary beach city.

Biggest cost?

Building it, taking it down, storing everything for six months — then doing it all over again. Plus a team of around 100 people.

Funniest moment from last season?

The “Na Fali” backdrop somehow ended up on hundreds of Poznań Tinder profiles. We definitely didn’t plan that — but we’re not complaining.

What was everybody drinking?

Cocktails. Easy. Pornstar Martinis and Mojitos everywhere.

Be honest — do people sneak in their own alcohol?

(laughs) It’s Poland… of course they try. But we keep an eye on it.

Dress code? Bikinis allowed?

Let’s just say beach fits are welcome. And for the pool parties — that’s your moment.

The whole place feels like a holiday resort. Any wild stories?

Let’s just say… what happens at Na Fali, stays at Na Fali. We don’t have security in the toilets.

Favourite event of the season?

Sylwester Letni — New Year’s Eve, but in summer. That one hits different.

Closing hours?

Not really. We go with the flow.

So… See You at Na Fali?

At this point, Klub na Fali isn’t just a venue anymore — it’s part of Poznań summer culture. Whether you’re there for cocktails, sunsets, beach vibes or complete chaos, one thing’s certain: when the weather hits, everybody somehow ends up Na Fali sooner or later.
