Yo Poznan!
Alright fam, remember when we first dropped that article about Nowa Forma in Jeżyce? Yeah, the one that over 3,000 of you read and then blew up our inbox with: “But did YOU actually train there?”
Well, buckle up. Because your humble narrator — a 53-year-old who hasn’t trained in checks notes THREE DECADES — decided to put my money (and body) where my mouth is. Spoiler: I survived. Barely.
Picture this: I walked in cool, confident, like I was about to casually crush a Rocky montage. Two hours later? I shuffled out like a newborn giraffe learning how to walk — sweaty, shaky, but grinning like I’d just won a medal for “Most Improved Couch Potato.” This crew mean business!

Round 1
First things first — 1:1 personal training. They ease you in with a quick questionnaire, like a Tinder profile for your fitness level (mine screamed “long-term relationship with the sofa”). Then the real work begins. Lunges that had my legs wobbling like Bambi on ice. Dumbbell presses that made me question why gravity is so cruel. And TRX pull-ups — let me tell you, hanging from straps while trying to drag your body upwards feels like starring in your own low-budget action movie. Even the warm-up — shoulder rotations, mobility drills, and balance work — had me sweating like it was the main event.

Round 2
But the real kicker? I thought I’d sneak off home afterwards, but nope — I got hustled straight into their Fascia Training class. Two full hours. Back-to-back. Maximum five people. No hiding. We rolled, stretched, twisted, and balanced until I discovered muscles I didn’t know existed.

Fascia training is all about your connective tissue — the stuff that holds your whole body together — and when it’s moving right, you move right. Add in balance drills that had me teetering like a tightrope walker, and flexibility work that reminded me I haven’t touched my toes since the 80s.

Here’s the wild part: the next day I wasn’t even sore. Not because it was easy (it wasn’t — I saw the white light during those TRX pulls), but because they make sure you move correctly. That’s their whole thing — smarter training, not just sweat-soaked suffering.

No Joke
Nowa Forma is serious, but not in that scary drill-sergeant way. They pushed me to my limits and beyond, but with mad precision. And honestly? It was harder than I thought, but also weirdly addictive.
So if you’re sitting there thinking, “Nah, I’m too old, too stiff, too outta shape” — take it from me: if I can do it, you can too. And hey, they even got senior sessions and a physio on deck, so no excuses.

Wrapping Up
We’ll be back (yes, really) for round 3. And full disclosure — by the end of that double-session grind, I was staring at their little garden like it was an oasis after a desert trek. Check their schedule here
