Hidden Brew Alert: Jeżycka Café x Kawiarz Sneaks Under Our Radar

Yo Poznan!

Alright, alright… we’ll admit it. Sometimes even we miss a spot that’s been staring us in the face the whole time. Blame the city buzz, blame the construction dust, or blame our caffeine levels. Whatever it was, Jeżycka Café x Kawiarz at Dąbrowskiego 3, right opposite the Most Teatralny tram stop, somehow slid right past our restaurant radar — until now.

From the outside, the place hasn’t changed much over the years. No neon signs. No LED robots juggling coffee beans. So we walked past it. Repeatedly. But inside? Whole different story.

A Love Story (with Coffee, Obviously)

Meet Amanda and Szymon, the lovely duo behind the café. As they told us:

“We’re a couple brought together by a love of coffee and creating together.”

Adorable? Yes. Talented? Also yes. Their story began with nerdy pour-over experiments and late-night baking sessions, and now? They’ve created their own café where everything is done their way — with heart.

You’ll find:

Specialty coffee: espresso, pour-overs, Aeropress for the coffee snobs. Homemade cakes (which change weekly and smell like hugs). Fresh sandwiches, seasonal desserts and sweet treats that swing between old-school classics and things you’ve never seen before

What We’re Hyped to Try

We booked an interview (and taste test, naturally) because we need to get the full story on how this place came to life. But we’ve already added a few must-tries to our hit list:

That fudgy homemade brownie – so good it might knock us off our diets for a week.

Lemoniada Malinka – that’s raspberry lemonade for those whose Polish is still on Duolingo level.

Lemoniada Gruszkapear lemonade, rarer than a quiet tram ride at 8am.

Kanapka Boczuś – a breakfast ciabatta with crispy bacon, a fried egg, rocket and tomato. Solid hangover cure material.

And don’t get us started on the Tropikalne Ice Latte – made with coconut milk and mango purée. Hello, summer in a cup.

Apparently, Szymon is a bit of a coffee wizard, a true coffee expert and a walking encyclopedia of the coffee world – with roastery experience, he ensures that every cup is a piece of art. So we’re buzzing (literally) to talk all things bean, brew, and balance when we drop in.

Final Sip

We’ll be back real soon with our full breakdown, reviews, and an exclusive chat with the creators of Jeżycka magic. But if you’re wandering near Most Teatralny and feel like giving your tastebuds something to cheer about, don’t wait for us — pop in and give them a shot (pun very much intended). If this photo doesn’t get your tastebuds drooling, then nothing will…
