Not Your Average Crepe

Switching Lanes

Let’s be real — if you’re still lining up at Manekin every weekend, it might be time to switch lanes. Tucked away just off the usual path, Kawiarnia Spacerówka on Królowej Jadwigi 54, only a short stroll from Stary Browar, is dishing out a little piece of Tokyo street food magic right here in Poznań.

We recently rolled through for a bite to try these Japanese crepes. If you’ve never had one, imagine the finesse of a French crepe but folded up street-style, packed with fillings, and made to eat on the go — like a flavor bomb wrapped in edible origami.

The Sweet Tooth

First up, we had to go in on the sweet side. Their Fruit Beauty crepe is a full-on flavor flex: soft, warm crepe wrapped around cream cheese, fresh strawberries, strawberry and chocolate sauces, whipped cream, and dusted with icing sugar.

You get that creamy tang from the homemade cheese, the burst of freshness from strawberries, all wrapped in warm dough that somehow feels light and indulgent at the same time. It’s like your childhood dream dessert grew up and got Tokyo cool.

The Savory

But this ain’t just for dessert-heads. We tried their egg-parmesan crepe with fried egg, Parma ham, spinach, salsa sauce, and cheddar cheese. The yolk oozes into the salty Parma and melted cheddar, while the spinach and salsa give it a kick that wakes up your taste buds. Perfect breakfast or brunch option!

The Crème Brûlée Coffee

You know we couldn’t leave without checking the drink game. Their Crème Brûlée Coffee blends secret spices with homemade honey, then tops it off with a sugar crust that they torch right in front of you. That crispy, caramelized top gives the drink a crack when you stir it, adding a toasted sweetness to the rich coffee underneath. Delicious!

Wrap It Up (Pun Intended)

Skip the line at Manekin and stroll into Spacerówka instead. Check the full crepe menu when you’re there — we’re already planning our next combo.
