Countdown to Lontra Pizza & Bar

Get ready, Poznań! Come the first week of September, the city’s pizza game is about to get a new player. Introducing Lontra Pizza & Bar—the latest brainchild of Kamil and Serhij, the dynamic duo behind the beloved Oldskulowa cafe just around the corner. Located at 27 Grudnia 21, right across from the iconic Okrąglak, Lontra is gearing up to be the next big thing in this up-and-coming corner of town.

The crust? Just how I like it

After 3.5 years of killing it with Oldskulowa, Kamil and Serhij felt the itch to branch out and bring something new to the table. And what better way to do it than with pizza? During a quick chat at one of their pizza testing sessions, we got a sneak peek—and bite—of what’s to come. Spoiler alert: The crust? Just how I like it. With that coarse, gritty texture from cornmeal dusting the bottom, it’s got that crunch you didn’t know you needed.

Final Touches

Right now, they’re testing out a lineup of around 15 pizzas, so expect some tweaks and surprises before the big launch. Oh, and let’s talk about that name—Lontra means “Otter” in Italian, and the pizza names will take you on a journey to places where these playful creatures roam. Considering how animal-themed names are totally a thing in Poland, we’re here for it.

Stay Tuned

With a full bar on deck, it’s set to be a great spot to unwind and soak in the energy of this newly buzzing part of town. Keep an eye on their Instagram for all the latest updates and the official opening date. See you on opening day!
