Uniesienie Wine Bar

One of the newest wine bars in Poznan in 2023 where you can explore the rich and diverse world of wines “Uniesienie wine bar” is run by two siblings – Anna and Marcin. Their passion for wine started because of their dad, who has a liquor store with a great selection of wine on the same street! It all happened quite by accident when Marcin called his sister out of the blue and told her to come and see an empty shop as they were going to open a wine bar together! She thought he was crazy but look at them now!

The wine bar is located in the suburbs on Strzeszyńska Street in the Podolany district and has quickly become a place for the locals to hang out, sip on wine and nibble on some tapas. Located on Koscielna Street in Jezyce, El Local is a Spanish wine bar where, in addition to liquors, you will also find tapas, warm cuisine, and excellent coffee and sweets. A wide assortment of Iberian cheeses, meats, and preserves complements the presence of spirits from all over Spain.

We recommend the Galician Albariño wine from the Rias Baixas appellation which is a crisp and fresh wine, characterized by a slightly mineral note. Together with the gambas al ajillo – slightly spicy shrimps with garlic, you have a pairing to put a smile on your face. Delicious! Definitely one of the best wine bars in Poznań!

When there we recommend you try the dry Miselle from France (Gascony), a combination of Colombard and Gros Manseng. Fresh and fruity wine with a mirabelle and gooseberry flavor. The dry Souvignier Gris from the Polish Silesian vineyard is also a must try with its clearly noticeable notes of apricot, pear, apple and passion fruit, with a slightly mineral finish.

You should also pair it with some tapas such as the Italian baguette with prosciutto, mozzarrella, roasted pumpkin seeds, arugula and truffle glassor our favorite chorizo in red wine with rosemary and served with fresh bread. They also have a really cosy garden in the warmer months to spend your evenings! Definitely one of the best wine bars in Poznań!
