Dumpling Drop in the Rynek: Chen Chen Pierożki

Craving something different

If you’re kicking around the Old Market Square and craving something that isn’t pizza or pierogi with sour cream, slide through Stary Rynek 9/10 and check out the fire dumplings at Serce.

These aren’t your grandma’s pierogi. They’re Chen Chen dumplings — a proper Szechuan-style twist on Chinese shui jiao (water dumplings). You get two options:

Pork

Juicy, garlicky, full-on flavor bombs swimming in chili oil with bok choy, scallions, sesame, and cilantro. Spicy, silky, and straight-up addictive.

Vegan

Don’t sleep on it. Tofu, mushrooms, Chinese cabbage — rich, earthy, with that same spicy oil kick and all the toppings. Hits hard without the meat.

Pro Tip

Pair the dumplings with one of their house cocktails or a crisp craft beer — and snag a table on the terrace if the weather’s nice. Perfect for people-watching with a side of chili oil.

Location: Serce – Stary Rynek 9/10
Dish: Pierożki Chen Chen
Mood: Chill, flavorful, and a little fiery
