Crazy!
Tłusty Czwartek is leveling up this year. Yes, the classic rose jam and powdered sugar hits are strong. Respect. But if you really want to make 2026 count… it’s time to go rogue.
We’ve just found what might be the wildest, most next-level donuts lineup in the city, and they’re only available until February 16. No pressure. Just urgency. This is so fresh we havent had time to make photos yet.
You’ll find this madness at Bo Poznan, Kościuszki 84, literally right next to Zamek. And we love it. Here’s what they’ve done to the humble doughnut this year. Thanks to Bo’s Instagram we have a couple of photos and a sneak preview!

Donut with Pulled Pork – 42 zł
This is not dessert. This is a lifestyle decision.
Inside is slow-pulled pork, poached egg, lolo lettuce, beetroot mayo and pickled onion Sweet dough. Savoury chaos. Creamy yolk. Acid from the pickles. This is the kind of thing that makes you question everything you thought you knew about Tłusty Czwartek.
Donut with Blood Sausage (Kaszanka) – 42 zł
Polish tradition just got a glow-up. French mustard. Grilled bacon. Caramelised onion. Poached egg. Potato emulsion. It’s rich. It’s unapologetic. It’s “I’m skipping dinner because this WAS dinner.”
Donut with Beef Tartare – 47 zł
Yes. Raw beef. On a doughnut. And somehow… it works. Beef tartare with wasabi mayo, marinated shimeji mushrooms, and egg yolk. This one is bold. Elegant. Slightly rebellious. If you’re the type who orders tartare “for the table” — this is your moment.

Kentucky Fried Chicken Donut – 45 zł
Firecracker sauce. Lolo lettuce. Tomato. Fried egg. Crispy. Saucy. Soft. It’s giving American fast-food fantasy meets Polish carnival energy.
Smash Burger Donut – 51 zł
Okay, this one is fully unhinged. Onion rings. Cheddar. Red onion chutney. Bacon. Tomato. Lolo lettuce. Jalapeño mayo. This isn’t a doughnut anymore. This is a dare.

The Verdict?
Classic pączki are strong this year — no doubt. But if you’re going to celebrate Fat Thursday (ok, we know it’s Friday hehehe) properly, make it memorable. Make it weird. Make it something you’ll talk about for the next 12 months. Because these are not your grandma’s doughnuts. And remember — they’re only around until February 16.
So if you’re walking past Zamek and you see Bo Poznan… you know what to do.
