Poznań’s New Sign System: Smart Move or Total Overload?

Hey!

Poznań’s at it again — new trams, great! new bike lanes, great! and now… new signs, not so great! The city just rolled out something called KSIM — the Commercial City Information System — basically a fresh wave of direction boards popping up to help people find companies, salons, offices, gyms, you name it.

Sounds handy, right? But also — do we really need more signs out there? Or is the city about to look like one giant directory board gone wild?

What’s the Deal with KSIM?

KSIM is Poznań’s new “official” system for companies that want visibility without breaking the landscape rules. These signs are going up on lampposts and poles in key areas, pointing the way to your business.

The city says it’s about making things easier and cleaner — no more rogue banners or random stickers slapped on walls. Everything’s supposed to be tidy, modern, and aesthetic. But if everyone jumps in… Poznań might start to look like a Google Maps pin exploded.

KSIM Says It’s All Good

They promise:

  • Visibility with class – your company becomes part of the official city info grid.
  • No headaches – they handle the design, paperwork, and permits.
  • Legal + clean – one of the few ad systems that plays by city rules.
  • Bang for your buck – affordable, long-term promo that lasts.

Sounds cool — but there’s a fine line between visible and visual chaos. Yeah, it helps people find offices, clinics, and salons — but Poznań’s already a maze of signs, arrows, and neon boards. We love our city’s buzz, but maybe, just maybe, we’re pushing it?

Could be the next smart step for local businesses… or just another case of good idea, bad execution.

Your Move, Poznań

So what do you think — smart upgrade or visual headache?

Either way, KSIM’s rolling out now, and soon you’ll spot those signs pointing you everywhere. We dont like it, but hey, if you’re feeling it, then below are the details to connect.
