Yo Poznan!

We’ve been on the hunt for the best hairdressers in Poznań – and no, we’re not talking about your standard cut and color factories. We’re on the lookout for magic. That secret sauce. The vibe. The hands that get it. We’ve already found a few heavy hitters (check out the Beauty section on our site for those), but this time, we wanted something different. Not even sure what – but we knew we’d feel it when we found it.

So we wandered into the Old Town, just steps from the rynek, dodging tourists and pigeons. Could it be hidden there? And then BAM – a little pink neon sign winked at us: Queen Hair. Tiny salon. Big energy.

Queen Hair

Small spot = big plus. Why? Because when the space is intimate, the vibe gets personal. It’s cozy, there’s no conveyor belt energy, and you’re not just client #47. You’re you. But we had to know – was this place just neon and nice fonts, or was there real hair magic going on behind those curtains?

As fate would have it, we ran into the owner herself – Magdalena Andrzejewska, right outside the salon. Total hair whisperer vibes. And she gave us the lowdown.

Healthy Hair

Queen Hair isn’t your typical cut & dye situation. Sure, they can do color and extensions, but that’s not the main mission. What Magdalena and her team are all about is hair health. And real talk? Most of us don’t even realize how unhealthy our hair is. Heat damage, bleaching, stress, cheap products – it all adds up. You might be walking around with a killer outfit and a tragic scalp situation.

“I specialize in hair care treatments,” Magdalena told us, “because that’s where I feel most at home. I want to restore and maintain the health and beauty of your hair – not just cover it up with color or trends.”

And she walks the walk. She’s been in the game over eight years, teaches haircare techniques, and is now developing her own brand of products: Queen Keratin.

The Head Spa

Oh – and you have to hear this – Queen Hair offers a Head Spa. Not a buzzword, an actual treatment. We’re talking Japanese head, shoulder, and neck massage that transports you straight to Bali. No Ryanair ticket required.
