PROJEKT WILSON: An English Breakfast in Poznan PART 2

Welcome to ‘An English Breakfast in Poznan PART 2′. Did you know the full English breakfast is a centuries-old English breakfast tradition, an iconic dish in British culinary culture, and a proud tradition that has been passionately sustained over the centuries by different generations of British society? Known colloquially as a fry-up, the ingredients of the English breakfast are now standardized, but there is currently a revival of the more traditional English breakfast ingredients underway in higher-end establishments, where the English breakfast is once again being revered and raised into an art form around the world. So what about an English breakfast in Poznan? In this second installment of our search for ‘ An English Breakfast in Poznan’, we visited Projekt Wilson in Lazarz to try their version of this iconic dish.

The chef at Projekt Wilson has put together a breakfast menu that every gourmet and connoisseur of good food will love and their breakfasts are served between 08:00 – 12:00 (Mon-Fri), and 09:00-13:00 (Sat & Sun). Expect the menu to include among others Pancakes to the famous French Croque Madame to a simple poached egg on toast. We are here though for the visually stunning, piece de resistance WILSON PO ANGIELSKU. It has everything you would expect on any self-respecting fry-up. Eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, and beans. They personalise the dish by adding a couple of hash browns which is a nice touch.

In case you dont know, hashbrowns are finely shredded potatoes that have been fried until golden browned. Delicious! A salad and four slices of bread with accompanying butter complete the dish. Of course, with the owner being British, you will also find a helping of tomato ketchup and mustard thrown in for good measure. At 44 PLN we can say that Projekt Wilson delivers a great English breakfast but dont just take our word for it. Go and try it for yourself. We have even added an interactive map below so there is no excuse. You can thank us later!
