Massive Rainfall Expected in Poznań: Crisis Team on High Alert for ‘Boris’

Wielkopolska is bracing for a major weather event as the Genoese low, dubbed ‘Boris,’ brings heavy rainfall and strong winds from Thursday to Monday. Poznań and 21 nearby poviats are under alert. With potential flooding and rapid water-level increases expected, the Provincial Crisis Management Team, led by Voivode Agata Sobczyk, has convened an emergency meeting. Residents are urged to monitor weather updates closely, as the heaviest rain is forecasted for Friday and Saturday.
