In a harrowing incident on February 14, a seemingly routine Uber ride in Poznań took a terrifying turn. Four passengers ordered the ride, but upon its arrival on ul. Kanalowa, a dispute erupted, escalating into a physical altercation. The driver was subjected to a brutal assault, and one of the assailants seized control of the vehicle, leaving the injured driver stranded.
Law enforcement promptly responded to the incident, initiating a thorough search of the area. Fortunately, the stolen car was found abandoned on a nearby street. Meanwhile, the injured Uber driver was rushed to the hospital and is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
Andrzej Borowiak from the Greater Poland police reported that investigations are underway, with authorities actively pursuing leads to apprehend the assailants.
