On Friday at 6:00 p.m., the Poznań Museum reopened in the historic Town Hall after extensive renovations, allowing access to the basements closed for 27 years. The renovation, which started in 2019, included archaeological research, revealing previously unseen architectural elements. The exhibition, now open, offers a unique glimpse into Poznań’s history.
For those interested, the basement of the Town Hall is open to visitors from March 5. The opening hours are tailored to meet visitors’ needs: Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Fridays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich history of Poznań and discover the secrets hidden deep under its heart – in the Old Market Square.
