A personal Theme park
Friday night in Starołęka got a little too wild when a pack of teens decided to turn Poznań’s public transport into their personal theme park. Around 7 PM, a group of kids—probably 14 to 16 years old—split up, with some hopping on the tram like regular passengers, while the rest clung to the bumper like it was the latest TikTok challenge.
We’re not saying these kids invented this reckless trend, but they sure aren’t stopping it either. Back in February, MPK already waved the red flag about how riding tram bumpers could turn into a total disaster.
The Risks Are Real
Sliding off, cracking your skull on the rails, or worse—getting caught up in a tram collision? It’s a recipe for tragedy. Not to mention, if the tram gets into a fender-bender, the bumper surfers are going to have front-row seats to a whole lot of pain.
We Were Young Once Too, But…
Look, we get it. The adrenaline rush. The “YOLO” attitude. We were young once, and yeah, this probably feels like the ultimate dare. But c’mon, there’s a reason MPK and every responsible adult out there is saying, “Don’t do it.” It might look cool now, but it’s not gonna feel so cool when you’re explaining to your parents why you’re in a hospital bed—or worse, why you didn’t make it home at all.
