Renowned street artist Kawu unveiled his latest masterpiece in Poznań, showcasing the beloved ogre character, Shrek. Positioned along the Rusałka River, “Shrek’s Swamp” depicts the iconic green ogre leisurely fishing on a bridge over the Bogdanka River, beer in hand.
This latest artwork follows Kawu’s previous mural featuring Super Mario atop a tractor adorned with the Polish flag, a symbolic gesture of support for farmers during protests. Kawu’s artistry, often inspired by fairy tales and cartoons, has earned him popularity in Poznań and beyond.
Despite some of his works facing challenges from authorities or vandalism, Kawu continues to share his creations on social media, ensuring his vibrant artistry leaves a lasting impression on the cityscape.
